The girls kicked off the first half playing left to right in a 3-5-2
formation due to lack of fit defenders. Hayley, Annie and Sophie
started as subs. Sheffield Rangers started the game with 9 players
and were joined by a tenth shortly after kick off

All games to
be played on Saturday 30th January and fixtures reversed if home

damp, drizzly morning at Bawtry road greeted both teams with SWLFC

Although heavy rain had fell overnight the pitch was in good
condition bathed in sunshine but with a strong wind blowing from
left to right. United had opted to kick into the wind with our girls
kicking off with the wind at their backs

At last! Six games in and our first home game! Although it had
rained heavily over night the pitch was in excellent condition and
the sun was shining. A few injuries had cleared up but we were still
without Alicia today due to a groin strain and Lucy was working.

today with players dropping like flies from illness and injuries all
week and leaving 12 players (some not 100%) for the trip to

Squad of 14 turned out in Bolton upon Dearne to face Dearne Dragons.
We were still without Annie (broken wrist) and our keeper Emily
(coaching course) but again this week Alison, Daniella and Rebecca

summer we say a sad farewell to Steve Hunt and Sophie Eyre and wish
